What is Craniosacral therapy?
Is a supplemental therapeutic option for any age.
Craniosacral therapy (CST) is a very gentle, hands-on therapy that some families use to help children and adults with autism feel more calm and balanced. While it’s not a cure or main treatment for autism, some people find it helps with things like relaxation, sleep, and sensory overload. Every person is different, and some people may feel more benefits than others. It may not work for everyone, but for some, it can be a calming part of a bigger support plan.
***This supplemental treatment helped calm my child's nervous system and promoted better sleep before she became more verbal to advocate her needs.
What Is Craniosacral Therapy?
CST uses light touch to help the body relax. A trained therapist gently places their hands on the head, neck, and back to help release tension and support the nervous system.
It’s calming, non-invasive, and usually feels like a soft, quiet rest.
