Inclusive Fitness Programs

Good Shepherd Karate Academy: 800-842 S 5th St, Allentown, PA 18103  
Since 2003, this program offers traditional Okinawan style karate instruction to children and young adults, very accommodating for those with disabilities. Students ages 6-36 may participate.

Grand Jete Dance: 17 E. Main St., Macungie, PA 18062

​Classes are developed for the specific needs of children with Autism, Downs Syndrome and other developmental delays. This fun and energetic class introduces jazz, tap and creativity, with songs and games which allow for self-expression.

Kobushi Family Karate Center: 5531 Hamilton Blvd, Allentown, PA 

This is an inclusive martial arts center who is experience with kids on the spectrum. They have a preschool program called Little Dragons and they also have separate programs for older children.

Lehigh Valley Polar Bears

Ice hockey program for children and young adults with Autism, Down syndrome, and other cognitive challenges. No prior hockey or skating experience is required to join—new players are provided with assistive equipment and work 1-on-1 with one of our many volunteer coaches until they are ready to skate on their own.

Lehigh Valley TOP Soccar: 1350 Buck Trail Road, Allentown, PA 18104

This program is offered in the Spring, Fall, and Winter seasons. It was founded by the parent of a child with special needs who felt that the existing soccer programs did not even come close to meeting the needs of aspiring players with special needs.

5-18 (10 participants), $90 per person

Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley (baseball and cheerleading): 5858 Sell Road City, Schnecksville
The year is divided into two seasons (May/June) and (September/October)
